Lots of Raw Food With Every Meal

I noticed first that my skin seemed clearer, my hair shiny and my nails much stronger. I started to lose weight and to date have lost 90 lbs. My prediabetic condition is now non-existant. My blood pressure, tryglicerides, and cholesterol are normal. I have so much more energy and stamina. I have started to even jog, which I would never have attempted before.
I started an organic diet back in March of 2010. On this diet they insist that you snack on many raw fruits and vegetables. I know I am eating at least 50% or more of my daily caloric intake raw. My morning breakfast is almost totally raw with fresh fruit and a combination of a multivitamin shake and hardboiled egg. My lunches always include a large salad of raw vegetables with raw peanuts or other nuts. My evening meal is usually another salad and meat which is rarely raw. All of my snacks are composed of different kinds of raw vegetables and fruits. I rarely have a slice of cheese, but do give in now and then. I also have a combination of raw oatmeal, natural peanut butter, and a bit of raw sugar. I make it into a ball and eat it like a cookie treat.
I am extremely happy with the amount of raw food I am consuming. Whether I would take the leap my daughter has and eat raw fish, I don't know. I know over time I have trained myself to eat much healthier. I do know that I have turned the corner on bad eating habits for good. I have decreased my caloric intake tremendously without feeling deprived. I have even lowered my grocery bills by quite a bit. In this economy that is something important to say about this method of eating.
