High Raw Food Diet Challenge - Day 5
by Trina
(Growing Raw Health)
Everything is getting better every day.
Sunny day! Everything even felt sunny. I think it could be the sunshine in the extra fruit I’m eating. I feel like I’m eating sunshine!
An interesting thing, instead of needing two cups of coffee to satisfy my cravings today, I only needed one. I had the second one measured and ready to pour, then I forgot about it. When I remembered later I realised that I actually didn’t feel like it. This happened before with addictions and
unhealthy eating habits – raw foods displaced them. Then my sense of extreme well-being was self-perpetuating. I didn’t need any ‘crutches’ and I just kept feeling better and better.
Either the high raw benefits are kicking in fast or today’s affirmation was super-powerful – or both!
I’m regaining another enjoyable side-effect of eating a raw food diet – needing less sleep. I’m gradually needing less sleep and the hours I’m awake feel more energised. This is great when you have two toddlers, I
highly recommend it. Actually my need to survive on less sleep was my initial motivation for experimenting with raw food.
The nicest part about today was that I didn’t rush, or rush my children. There was time to play and reflect.
