High Raw Food Diet Challenge - Day 21
by Trina
(Growing Raw Health)
I find the humour in life and I laugh easily.
After three weeks eating high raw I’m definitely feeling a dramatic improvement in my health and wellbeing. One of the amazing aspects of eating raw is how rapidly it’s effective. I look healthier too, can train harder, sleep better and I’m
almost keeping up with the kids. It’s quite miraculous how powerful healthy eating is.
Eating mostly raw food is becoming automatic. I think at least until Winter it will be easy to stick to a 70-80% raw food diet. Hopefully I can raise the percentage higher if I continue to focus.
I’m looking forward to Christmas with my family, given how they’ve embraced the whole health challenge idea. It will be interesting to see how we fit in more raw salads, green smoothies, fruits and raw desserts into our Christmas feast.
Several of my relatives have set up their own healthy eating challenges; my Mum, my brother, my cousin. Don’t forget to set up your own
healthy eating challenge and solidify healthy habits before Christmas temptation!
For the final burst of my high raw challenge I want to focus on getting my raw calories well over 80% most days. I seem to be just scraping it in. I think if I increase to 90% my energy will pick up that little bit further and launch me into December.
